How do you get a loud alarm for an Outlook meeting?

The phone is on Silent Mode
SolvedOutlook reminders are notifications, and Silent Mode mutes notification sounds system-wide. Only an alarm gets through.
Focus or Do Not Disturb is on
SolvedFocus can stop the banner appearing at all. Alarms are exempt from Focus, which is why Pealo schedules one.
The Outlook app is not installed or not signed in
SolvedOn iPhone, Outlook reminders come from the Outlook app. If you read the calendar elsewhere, no reminder is ever delivered. Pealo works from the account, not from the app.
Background refresh is off for Outlook
SolvedWithout background refresh the Outlook app may not see a meeting until you open it. Pealo does not depend on the Outlook app at all.

Outlook questions
Can Outlook make a loud alarm on its own?
No. Outlook on iPhone can only send notifications, which are muted by Silent Mode and hidden by Focus. A real alarm has to be scheduled with the operating system, which is what Pealo does.
Does Pealo work with a work Office 365 account?
Yes. Office 365, Exchange and personal Outlook.com accounts all connect the same way. If your organisation restricts third-party sign-in, an administrator may need to approve Pealo once.
Do I have to change anything in Outlook?
No. Pealo reads your events and creates the alarms on your device. Outlook reminder settings stay exactly as they are.
Will Teams meetings get alarms?
Yes. Teams meetings live in the same Exchange calendar, so they are treated like any other event.
Do tentative meetings ring?
You choose. Tentative meetings can be included or skipped; declined meetings never ring.
What does Pealo read from my Microsoft account?
Event titles and start and end times from the calendars you switch on. That is what an alarm needs.
