Can Apple Calendar set an alarm for an event?
Not on its own. Apple Calendar can send an alert, but alerts are notifications and Silent Mode mutes them. The phone is on Silent Mode
SolvedCalendar alerts are notifications, and Silent Mode mutes notification sounds. Only an alarm gets through, which is why Pealo schedules one.
Focus or Do Not Disturb is on
SolvedMost Focus setups block Calendar banners entirely. Alarms are exempt, so a Pealo alarm rings during any Focus.
The event has no alert, or a Time to Leave alert only
