The service
Pealo is an iOS application operated by Grzegorz Mróz Ventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Pealo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Not a safety-critical system
While we strive to deliver alarms reliably, Pealo is not a safety-critical system. Pealo uses Apple’s AlarmKit framework to schedule system alarms on your device. Alarm delivery depends on factors outside our control, including your device settings, iOS behavior, AlarmKit framework limitations, network connectivity, and Apple’s push notification infrastructure.
Do not rely on Pealo as your sole alarm for situations where missing a wakeup could cause serious harm (medical appointments, flights, etc.). Always set a backup alarm for critical events.
Subscription
Pealo offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the app. When the trial expires, alarms are cancelled and the app is locked until you subscribe.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s Settings at any time. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
Calendar access
You authorize Pealo to read your calendar events via Google OAuth or your device’s local calendars. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting your calendar in the app or by revoking access in your Google account settings.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the service, or use Pealo in any way that could harm other users or our infrastructure.
Availability
We aim to keep Pealo available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, server outages, or changes to third-party services (including Google Calendar API and Apple’s AlarmKit or push notification infrastructure) may temporarily affect functionality.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grzegorz Mróz Ventures is not liable for missed alarms, missed events, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Pealo. This includes, without limitation, failures caused by AlarmKit, push notification delivery, calendar sync delays, or device settings.
Intellectual property
Pealo, its design, and its code are the property of Grzegorz Mróz Ventures. Your calendar data remains yours — we claim no ownership over it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Pealo after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
